Whether you're working with plastic, steel, or rustless barrels filled with paint, food, or chemicals - drum handling equipment is a must to protect workers and speed up workflow. The heavy lifting required to transport the barrels can strain muscles and aggravate injuries, but you can mitigate these risks by using customized vertical drum lifter that allows workers to grab, lift, tilt, and rotate the barrels in a single operation.

These drum handlers can be attached to a forklift or crane and are designed to lift open head and closed head steel or plastic drums in the vertical position. A cinch strap wraps around the base of the drum to securely hold it in place. Once the lifter is attached to a hoist or crane the drum can be easily lifted, then lowered and tilted to pour out contents. They are available in a harness design or with hooks that are suitable for use with ribbed drums.

These lifters are also available with a drum scale to allow you to weigh the drum as it is being poured. This saves time by eliminating the need to move to a separate drum scale after pouring. They are also available with a top rim clamp to securely grip the drum. They are made of high quality, durable materials and have a load capacity up to 1,500 lb.
